5.1 Tree City Arbor Day Celebration – Recap of the event and needs to send with our Tree City, USA Application (Scott McCoy).
5.2 Bowie Park Bird Sanctuary Plantings – Update on the group and timing and cost of plantings for the trees to be planted as a bird sanctuary and habitat. (Mike Berkley) Deferred from April 3rd meeting.
5.3 Landscape Code Review – Continuation to review history and ordinances, begin to discuss other municipalities Tree Protection Ordinances and landscaping requirements.
6. New Business
6.1 Road Scapes Update – Project on Hwy 100 and Hwy 96 junction in Fairview, plant replacement, and mulch weed abatement (Mike Berkley) Deferred from April 3rd meeting.
6.2 Bowie Parks Landscape Design Update: Funding for design and planning of landscape architecture design encompassing the full park system (Debby Rainey) (Added as a new item per previous minutes, timing to correspond with potential park review.)
