Department Announces Promotion

In the department officers meeting last month Fire Chief Hughes announced the promotion of Jacob Warren to the rank of Lieutenant. Warren has served as the Training Officer for the Fire Department and Safety Officer for the City since November of 2017. Chief Hughes further added, “Lieutenant Warren not only keeps the Fire Department in compliance with our training hours and content, but he also serves as the City’s Safety Officer, staffs apparatus anytime he is needed, and assists me on numerous projects.”

Lt. Warren has a Master’s degree in Safety, Security & Emergency Management and Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.

Fairview Fire is a combination department providing 24/7/365 coverage for the approximately 9500 residents and visitors in Northwest Williamson County, TN. The City is approximately 15 square miles in area and is consistently growing. Fairview Fire staffs 19 career firefighters, 17 in the Operations Division working across 3 shifts for emergency response which are supplemented by highly dedicated and trained volunteers and 2 serve in the Administrative Division.
