Located off Highway 100 approximately 1 mile west of the Highway 100/96 interchange. Bowie Nature Park is home to a Nature Center, over 14 miles of trails, 5 lakes, a large playground, an outdoor classroom, shelters, picnic tables, and grills.

The Nature Center in Bowie Nature Park houses the Bowie Museum, live animals, a classroom, and the offices for the Parks Department Staff. Future plans include an ADA accessible trail.

If anyone at your home or business has special needs that our first responders should be alerted to in the event of an emergency or other call for service we want to know. Please email any special needs information, notifications or requests for our first responders to [email protected]. Williamson County dispatch will flag your address with the necessary information. If our first responders are ever dispatched to your address for any reason dispatch will notify them of your unique circumstance.
