Bid Requirements

Resurfacing Bid: New Hope Road, New Hope Pass & Dice Lampley Roads (refer to map)

  • Roads to be leveled with 50 lbs. per sq. yard CW mix and surfaced with 165 lbs. per sq. yard CW mix. Bid to include clipping of shoulders, sweeping and tack coat. Cost of this work to be included in the cost of CW mix and all other items needed to be included in the cost of mix per ton.

City of Fairview 2015 Tax Rate Increase

City of Fairview property tax rate increased from 63.5 cents to $1.00 per $100 of assessed value for the 2015 tax year. The Board of Commissioners voted in the tax rate in June 2015 as part of the budget approval process for the 2015-2016 fiscal year. An increase in the tax rate was discussed from the beginning of this year’s budget process. Citizens have the opportunity and are encouraged to share their opinions on both the tax rate and entire budget at a public hearing held prior to the second reading of the budget and tax rate ordinances at Fairview City Hall.…
