CITY OF FAIRVIEW TN DELINQUENT TAX NOTICE

Pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 2, Section 5 of the Municipal Code of the City of Fairview and in accordance with the requirements of Tennessee law, notice is hereby given that after

MARCH 1, 2015

Penalties will be imposed in addition to the base tax for 2014 taxes. Additional penalties, interest, and other charges will be imposed in addition to the base tax, and suit will be filed to enforce the lien for taxes against land and personal limits of the City of Fairview for the tax year 2013.…

Fairview TN Flag

  • September 2014 – Initial inquiry by Ron Rowe who wanted to display our flag at an Air Force reunion for a nice photo opportunity
  • October 2, 2014 – First run attempts from staff presented at Board of Commissioners meeting
  • October 6, 2014 – Anonymous citizen submitted design and stated “It’s important for a Flag to be a thoughtful process: A true Flag should contain some elements of historic symbolism and meaning.”
  • October 16, 2014 – Citizen design presented to Board of Commissioners and received approval to move forward
  • January 6, 2015 – New city flag first displayed at Fairview City Hall

COLOR SCHEME

  • The background to the Flag design is the TN State Flag with the blue and red color locations switched.
