POLICE OFFICER

 

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the assigned chain of command personnel a police officer is responsible for protection of the life and property of the citizens of the city of Fairview. Police officers are frequently required to use independent judgement in order to perform the duties of this position. Police officers are expected to perform their law enforcement duties in a manner that is legally consistent with mandates of the United States Constitution, Tennessee law, city of Fairview ordinances, and the policies and procedures of the city of Fairview and the Fairview police department.…
