The city’s chipper and leaf services are intended to assist homeowners in removing brush and similar debris resulting from residential landscaping maintenance and leaf removal resulting from basic homeowner leaf collection. Recently, improvements have been made to the services so that homeowners have a more reliable schedule for the chipper and leaf services.
The city has been divided into four (4) zones. Each of the four zones and the city-wide service zone maps are available below. The zone chipper and leaf service routes are run on the first four Tuesdays of each month (There is no service on fifth Tuesdays). The chipper service runs from the first Tuesday in April through the fourth Tuesday in October. The leaf service runs from the first Tuesday in November through the fourth Tuesday in March. THE CITY DOES NOT RUN THE CHIPPER AND LEAF SERVICE AT THE SAME TIME.
If for any reason the chipper or leaf service cannot be run on the scheduled Tuesday the service will be run on the next business day that the service can be run. If either service cannot run on the scheduled Tuesday the service WILL NOT BE DELAYED TO THE FOLLOWING MONTH. Most delayed services will be resumed within forty-eight (48) hours.
